The Drums course focuses on technique at the Beginner level, and then moves on to developing a good sense of timing and rhythm. At the same time, it provides an exposure to different styles of drumming. At the Intermediate and Advanced levels, the focus shifts to learning complex song structures, advanced time signatures and limb independence. Students are trained to play along with sight reading, playing by ear and develop skills for on-the-spot improvisation.
