At NCMA, our professionally structured music programs in Guitar, Drums, Keyboard and Western Vocals are designed to help students develop strong technical skills, musical understanding and stage confidence. With training across Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, the courses combine practical learning, theory and performance-based instruction to create well-rounded musicians in a creative and disciplined environment.
GUITAR
Our guitar curriculum emphasizes on technique, playing, soloing, theory, skill and improvisation. A structured and disciplined approach has been divided into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels. This helps ensure a strong foundation that is required to master the instrument, that is arguably one of the most popular but also difficult to master.
DRUMS
The Drums course focuses on technique at the Beginner level, and then moves on to developing a good sense of timing and rhythm. At the same time, it provides an exposure to different styles of drumming. At the Intermediate and Advanced levels, the focus shifts to learning complex song structures, advanced time signatures and limb independence. Students are trained to play along with sight reading, playing by ear and develop skills for on-the-spot improvisation.
KEYBOARD
At the Beginner level, the program focuses on technique, theory and hand independence. This is followed by lessons on scales and chord cycles. Moving further, the curriculum offers a newly designed integrative course for the modern-day keyboardist. With experience, the students go on to use the knowledge gained to learn popular music pieces.
VOCALS
The course dives deep into the very basics of voice culture and vocal exercises that help develop a strong foundation required to perform at a professional level. At the Beginner level, the program emphasizes on scale-based vocal exercises and learning to pitch notes correctly. Students go on to focus on deep voice training and voice modulation techniques. For students who are passionate about singing, this course helps tap their true voices and develop skills to bring out their best.
